Our Thomas Telford UTC Information Evenings have now come to an end.

Thank you to everyone who attended one of our seven events. We hope you found the evenings informative and helpful in learning more about Thomas Telford UTC.

Please read through the 2027 Admission Policy, it explains how places are allocated and contains information regarding the non-verbal reasoning test.

You do not need to book a place for the non-verbal reasoning test. If you list Thomas Telford UTC as one of your school preferences, your child will receive an invitation to the test after the 31st October deadline.

Please ensure that you have submitted your secondary school preferences to your local authority in your preferred order by 31st October 2026.

At the beginning of November, we will write to you inviting your child to attend the Non-Verbal Reasoning (NVR) assessment. The assessment sessions will take place over the weekend of 21st and 22nd November 2026.

If you have not received this information by 17th November 2026, it is your responsibility to contact us directly so that we can provide the details as soon as possible.

Please note: Your child must attend the NVR assessment for their application to Thomas Telford UTC to proceed. If your child does not sit the assessment, their application will not progress any further.
