There is once again much cause for celebration at Thomas Telford UTC after our students achieved another excellent set of examination results with the trend of making year-on-year improvements.

Student destinations have been extremely positive. Many of our Year 13 leavers went onto apprenticeships at various levels with virtually all other students going to university. Nearly all leavers remained within our specialism for their next steps beyond the UTC.
These destinations are supported through site visits and employer-led projects which continue to be a very successful aspect and key feature of the UTC and one of the ways in which we are able to develop the UTC values within our young people such as resilience, accountability, aspiration and collaboration.
All Year 11 have secured their next destination. We have had an overwhelming majority return to the UTC which is excellent. We also have a number of students attending other providers to study their chosen future aspiration.
All Year 13 students have secured an apprenticeship, university or a place within employment. We have a small number of students who have decided to take a Gap Year to travel before they continue their studies next year.
