Allocation of Places: 1st March 2024
Many congratulations to those offered a place for Year 7 in September 2024. Please take note of the following important dates for your child’s transition to secondary school, both of which are compulsory. Further details on both of these events will be sent in due course.
Appeal Hearings – 3rd – 7th June 2024
Admission for 2025 commences in September 2024.
For September 2025 admission, you must apply through your local authority. If you wish to apply to Thomas Telford UTC, you must list Thomas Telford UTC as one of your five school preferences (in order of preference).

You do not need to book a place for the non-verbal reasoning test. If you list Thomas Telford UTC as one of your school preferences, your child will receive an invitation to the test after the 31st October deadline.
Parent Information Evenings are scheduled for the 12th and 19th of September and the 1st of October 2024. Booking opens in September.
